Proposed Bike Route 12 Improvements
The City agrees to adding cross-street signs along Bike Route 12 at the intersections of South Main Street (for northbound and southbound traffic visibility) and Clyo Road (for northbound traffic visibility).
Eventually a sign will be added at Clyo Road for southbound traffic once the Clyo-Franklin off-street path is completed. The East Franklin Street intersection has a sign for westbound traffic that indicates a left turn onto South Johanna Drive. Additionally, northbound traffic on South Johanna Drive has a sign indicating to turn right at East Franklin Street.
The proposed signs to direct bikes from Bike Route 12 over Weller Ave from S. Johanna Dr was not well received and the City suggested an alternative route from Route 12 to the public parking lot off of Maple Avenue via North Johanna Drive thru the school to Lakeview Drive to Maple Avenue.
