Cycle Kettering is sponsoring a Celebrate Trails event on Sat. April 26, 9:30 am at Gentile Park. Mayor Peggy Lehner will be joining us to make the 2025 Bike Month proclamation and lead us in the bell ringing dedication of the new section of bike trail leading to the Dayton Kettering Connector Trail. Come join the celebration with a short ride down the Dayton Kettering Connector trail to UD and back. Participants are encouraged to cycle to the event because car parking in Gentile Park is limited. And enjoy some Athletic Brewing Co. nonalcoholic beverages after the ride!

This hands-on classroom session will help you diagnose and perform common bike repairs. Topics will include inspections, fixing a flat tire, and chains. Once you have gotten your hands a little dirty in this class you will have a great foundation to move on the Bicycle Maintenance 2. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by a registered adult. This program will cover the spectrum of bicycle touring from fully loaded to ultralight and from self-supported to guided tours. Other topics include route planning and resources. Registration required.
